AI‑ready livestream cameras built for the toughest places on earth.
From our base in Nelson we design, build and support our own rugged camera, sensing, connectivity and AI platforms. We do the full stack in house, including hardware, enclosures, power, networking, software and artificial intelligence, so every part is tuned to work together in real conditions, not just in the lab.
That end to end control lets us move quickly from prototype to fleet scale deployment and gives customers a single, accountable partner for reliable, AI ready infrastructure in the field.
Every site is different, so SnapCore supports a range of deployment models using the same rugged camera platform. Systems can be installed on buildings, poles or towers with standard 24 V Power over Ethernet, or deployed off‑grid using solar power systems for truly remote locations with no mains supply.
Connectivity is just as flexible. Where fixed internet is available, cameras can stream over Ethernet; for isolated sites, we support cellular and Starlink backed connections so you can still deliver reliable livestreams, time‑lapse imagery and AI events from the field.
SnapCore hardware is engineered for salt, moisture, vibration and temperature extremes, with IP67–68 ratings and multi year deployments on record. Options such as solar power kits, custom brackets and robust cabling make remote, off grid installations practical and reliable. Our systems are designed to keep operating when conditions are wet, windy, cold, hot or dusty, on coastlines, along rivers, across industrial sites and at remote land based locations.
For tourism, hospitality, marinas and outdoor attractions, SnapCore provides end to end livestream camera services. We supply the hardware, hosting and support so you can embed high definition live views or time lapse images into your website and digital channels, giving customers a clear view of real conditions on site. Our cameras are engineered for New Zealand coastal and alpine environments, delivering reliable views across seasons and weather.

SnapCore’s cloud dashboards turn camera feeds, AI events and site data into clear, actionable views for your operations, safety and management teams. Instead of checking individual cameras in isolation, you can see what is happening across multiple sites in real time, then drill into historical time‑lapse, incidents and trends when you need detail.
Within a single browser‑based interface, different users can see the views and metrics that matter most to them — from live streams and time‑lapse panels through to alerts and AI‑generated events such as after‑hours access or suspected theft. Open APIs make it straightforward to plug SnapCore dashboards into your existing systems over time, and we can tailor layouts, views and data feeds to match your specific operational and reporting requirements.
SnapCore helps organisations turn raw video from Immerse Cam into practical tools for monitoring, quality, and decision‑making. Our applied AI services let you design, train, and deploy computer‑vision models that fit your environment, using the same rugged cameras you already use for livestream and time‑lapse. At the edge, our systems can count people or vehicles, monitor queues and congestion, and detect events such as after‑hours access, potential theft activity, or blocked access ways without needing in‑house AI specialists. We build and maintain custom models from your own site footage and validate them in production, then deliver results through dashboards, alerts, and APIs that plug into your existing workflows. SPOT, our video insight engine, lets users search and query footage in everyday language, while TRAIN delivers high‑accuracy detection models tuned to each site and process.
Embedded NVIDIA edge compute enables powerful on‑board artificial intelligence, so our systems can send only relevant clips, images or data points instead of continuous raw video. Cameras and hubs support Ethernet and LTE and can either integrate into existing networks or operate via cellular from isolated sites. This architecture lets the same core platform support applications such as conveyor and process‑line monitoring, environmental and infrastructure monitoring, and remote site security, all from a common, industrial‑grade hardware stack.
Use Cases
We provide marine grade livestream camera solutions for tourism attractions, adventure operators, accommodation providers and outdoor destinations. Live cameras increase website engagement, help visitors plan trips around real time conditions and provide a steady stream of visual content for marketing. Our systems are purpose built for New Zealand’s coastal and alpine environments and integrate seamlessly into your website via our livestream portal.
SnapCore cameras and hubs support monitoring for harbours, marinas, ramps, beaches, rivers and inland waterways. Solar and battery options, along with robust mounting hardware, enable continuous operation at exposed or remote sites to support safety, operations, compliance and environmental monitoring programmes.
For coastal sites, industrial perimeters and remote land blocks, Immerse Cam systems provide continuous, edge‑AI monitoring of both security and environmental conditions. Cameras can potentially detect intrusion and unauthorised access, as well as storm or flood impacts, shoreline or bank erosion, slips and other visible environmental changes as they develop. Each event is captured as a verified visual record and can be paired with hydrological and meteorological sensor data (such as water level, rainfall, wind, weather station feeds or alarm inputs), creating an auditable history that supports compliance, incident investigation and long‑term asset, catchment and coastal management decisions.
SnapCore’s Immerse Cam platform delivers remote camera and sensor systems for exposed, hard‑to‑reach and unmanned sites. Using rugged edge‑AI cameras, engineered solar kits and robust mounting hardware, we provide continuous monitoring for assets such as construction sites, depots, infrastructure corridors, coastlines and remote land‑based operations. Edge AI on the camera can detect activity and events at the site, while Ethernet or LTE backhaul sends compact clips, images or data back to your teams, reducing bandwidth and review time while giving operators visual situational awareness from remote locations.
SnapCore delivers custom computer vision models aligned to each customer’s site, product and workflow. Using Immerse Cam with edge‑based AI, systems can be trained to detect presence, count, spacing, sizing, contamination and other quality‑related visual changes on conveyor belts and holding areas. Alerts, video clips or data feeds can integrate with existing systems to support quality control, yield monitoring and reporting, in plants where visual quality, yield and operational consistency matter.
Immerse Cam can be aimed at legacy analogue gauges, dials and counters such as water meters, flow meters, level indicators or pressure gauges to turn manual readings into live digital data without replacing the instrument. Machine vision models trained on your specific gauges read values on a schedule or in near real‑time and push them into your existing dashboards or data platforms. This removes routine manual walk‑around checks, reduces transcription errors and makes it possible to trend and alert on meter data from remote or hard‑to‑reach locations, reducing travel time and cost while maintaining visibility between site visits.
At yards, depots and remote farm sites, Immerse Cam can provide a live view of vehicle movements, queues and key mobile assets, reducing the need for manual yard checks. Edge AI highlights congestion and delays, and can potentially flag when vehicles, machinery or other mobile assets are used outside approved projects or time windows, or when activity suggests potential theft of assets, fuel or stock. This helps teams improve utilisation, reduce losses and make faster, better‑informed dispatch and planning decisions.
Immerse Cam systems can be focused on critical equipment and moving parts to provide continuous visual condition monitoring. Site‑specific AI models trained on footage from your own plant can learn what “normal” looks like and surface exceptions so maintenance teams receive targeted alerts and annotated imagery into existing CMMS or maintenance workflows, helping reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life. The same cameras can support health and safety teams by highlighting potential risks and unsafe behaviours, but they are not certified safety systems and do not replace your existing safety procedures, supervision or regulatory obligations; customers remain responsible for appropriate human review of alerts and video.
All of these use cases can start as straightforward livestream or time‑lapse deployments and be upgraded to edge‑AI analytics over time, using the same Immerse Cam hardware and core platform. This means you don’t need to commit to AI on day one: you can begin by capturing reliable visuals, then introduce computer vision models as your requirements, budgets and confidence grow.
We make remote sites feel close, connected and visible.
